The Groupe Automobile Elsecom , headquartered in Bab Ezzouar in Wilaya Algiers ( Algeria ), is an automobile dealer for various brands.

history

The company was founded in 1981 and began selling fire detectors and alarm systems. In 1996, the sale of buses of the Asia brand , which was taken over by Kia , starts . Sales of Kia vehicles began in 1999 after a concession for Isuzu had been acquired a year earlier. Other brands are Maruti (2000 to 2008), Daewoo (since 2002), Ford (since 2003), FAW (since 2005), Suzuki (since 2008) and Tata (since 2015).

The Groupe ELSECOM now has 17 sales outlets and offices and over 100 sales agencies in 39 of the 48 wilayas.

The group has had 400,000 vehicles since it started operating and is, according to its own statements, the third largest automobile company in the country.
