The Groussgaass

The Groussgaass ( Luxembourgish ; German: Großgasse or Großstraße , French: Grand-rue ) is the main shopping street in Luxembourg City . It was built as part of a Roman road that led from Arlon to Trier . Most of the street in Luxembourg's Upper Town is now a pedestrian zone .

The continuation to the west is the Avenue Emile Reuter and the Route d'Arlon , the main arterial road to the west.
