GRUBER Logistics is an international, family-owned transport company based in Auer , South Tyrol, with a total of 24 branches in Europe and Asia.

history

Gruber Logistics was founded in 1936 by Josef Gruber and has been in the family for three generations. Initially active as a transport broker and customs agent, the Gruber family entered the cross-border trade and opened the first foreign branch in Kiefersfelden in Germany in 1963 . In the course of the 1970s the company began to invest in its own vehicles and to develop further in various areas of logistics. At the beginning of the 1980s, the company became increasingly active in the field of heavy and special transports. Heavy cargo is now the core business of the group of companies, which is present in a total of nine countries.

The company relied on a sustainable environmental policy early on through intermodal transport and has been increasingly active in the wind and solar energy sector as a logistician in recent years.
