In synthetic projective geometry, the basic terms point , straight line and plane are called basic elements . They are equivalent and are interrelated by the axioms of incidence . One of the basic elements include not only the points lying in the finite, lines and planes, but also the remote points , the remote line and the remote level .

The basic structures are composed of the basic elements .
