Basic accuracy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The basic accuracy is a quality mark for measuring devices.

The basic accuracy is not standardized or otherwise binding. It is given in some information documents on digital multimeters as an abbreviated statement about their error limits . It is limited to the most favorable case, which often only applies to a single measuring range of a single measured variable and does not take into account the effects of temperature or curve shape.
