Hrubon was a French car brand.

Company history

Jean-Claude Hrubon founded the Société Hrubon company in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1980 to produce automobiles. The brand name was Hrubon . In 1981 the company was renamed Automobiles Schmitt and moved to Guebwiller . In 1985, Charlatte from Migennes took over production and sold the vehicles as Charlatte .

Small cars were produced that looked like a miniature version of the Mini Moke . Motors with a displacement of 50 cm³ provided the drive . Due to the small cubic capacity, the vehicles can be used in France without a license.
