Sovam SAS is a French company and a former manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
In 1930, André Morin founded the Société Anonyme des Véhicules André Morin in Châtillon-sur-Thouet . The company manufactured automobiles between 1964 and 1969. The brand name was Sovam . The company is now called Sovam SAS and has its headquarters in Parthenay . The company still manufactures equipment for airports today .

Sporty models were on offer. The vehicles were to the floor pan of the Renault 4 and 6 and four-cylinder engines from Renault fitted behind the front axle. Engines with 845 cm³, 1108 cm³ and 1255 cm³ displacement were used, which made between 30 and 65 kW (41 and 88 hp ). There were the body styles Coupé and Targa .
A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Musée Chapy in Boujan-sur-Libron in France. Another vehicle is in the Aspang Automobile Museum in Aspang-Markt in Lower Austria .
