Automobiles Arié was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Jean-Claude Arié, who previously worked for Suncar , founded the company in Annecy-le-Vieux in 1982 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Arié . Production ended in 1985. The Société Ad-Hoc took over the company.

The company manufactured micro cars. The only Hopi model was an open vehicle with a length of 2.32 m and a curb weight of 175 to 240 kg. The engine was in the stern. A gasoline engine from Fichtel & Sachs with a displacement of 125 cc provided the drive . The maximum speed was given as 75 km / h. The new price was 29,800 French francs .
