The SA Tomcar was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from Saint-Just-en-Chaussée was founded in 1981. In 1981 or 1983 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Tomcar . Later the company moved to Breteuil-sur-Noye . Production ended in 1985. Pypper from Spain used the design on their prototypes in 1986.
vehicles
The company manufactured micro cars. On offer were a closed version called Berline and a convertible . The vehicle was 246 cm long, 129 cm wide and 132 cm high. The vehicles were front-wheel drive . Initially, only one was single cylinder - two-stroke engine of Peugeot with 49 cc engine capacity available. The new prices were 22,600 French francs for the Cabriolet and 22,900 francs for the closed version in October 1981. Later, supplemented gasoline engine of BCB with 125 cc capacity and a diesel engine by Lombardini 325 cc supply.
