Cedre SARL , previously Société Seve-Cedre , was a French manufacturer of automobiles . Cedre stood for Center d'Études pour la Développement et la Réussite des Entreprises.

Company history

François Guerbet presented a prototype in 1974 and founded Société Seve-Cedre in Sainte-Croix-Volvestre in 1975 . It was not until 1979, when the company was renamed Cedre SARL , that the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Cedre . Production ended in 1987.

Cedre Midinette 1000 (1981)

The company manufactured mini cars with electric motors. The 1974 prototype was called both Mini 1 and Soubrette .

The Midinette followed in 1975 and went into series production in 1979. An electric motor with a power of 1.2 kW provided the drive. The maximum speed was specified with 50 km / h, and the range with 60 km. The polyester body had sliding doors and offered space for one person. The length was 180 cm and the width 88 cm. The vehicle was a tricycle with a single front wheel.

There was also a model with an engine with an output of 5 kW.

The five-wheel 5x5 Solaire was a special model .
