Vitrex Industrie SA was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

The Paris-based company started producing automobiles in 1974. The brand name was Vitrex . Jacques Riboud was the designer . In 1978, SECAM was taken over from Chambly . Production ended in 1980. The company was then still active in the automotive industry. It is not known when the company was dissolved.

The company manufactured micro cars. The Riboud model was manufactured at Marland SARL . With a new price of 6430 French francs , it was the cheapest car in France in 1979. This open vehicle was available with both three and four wheels. For driving a saw built-in motor of Sachs with 47 cc displacement and 2.4 PS performance. The vehicle was 195 cm long and weighed about 100 kg.

From 1978 there was also the Addax , which previously came from SECAM. It was only available as a tricycle. There was a choice of engines with 47 cm³ and 50 cm³ displacement.

In 1980 the Garbo model was presented at the Paris Motor Show. The closed body offered space for two people. A Peugeot engine with a displacement of 49 cm³ propelled the vehicle. MDP Transmission revised the model and brought it out under the brand name Puma .
