Automobiles Galy was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Automobiles Galy belonged to the Forges et Atéliers de la Vence et de la Fournaise company from Paris and began producing automobiles in 1954. The brand name was Galy . Production ended in 1957. A total of around 100 vehicles were built.

Small cars with rear engines were on offer . There was a choice between a two-stroke engine from Ydral with a displacement of 175 cm³ and 11 hp and a single - cylinder four-stroke engine from AMC with a displacement of 248 cm³ and 15 hp. The vehicle was a two-seat coupe that resembled the Goggomobil coupe . It was eight feet long. In 1955 the prototype of an open vehicle that resembled the jeep was presented .
