Jean-Louis Baud Automobiles was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Laon-based company started producing automobiles in 1980. The brand name was Saga . Production ended in 1994.

vehicles

One model was a replica of a Bugatti Type 55 from 1932, reduced by 10%. The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and the gearbox on the rear axle, which was also driven. The engines came from Alfa Romeo . One source mentions a cubic capacity of 2000 cm³ and performances from 130 to 176 HP . Other sources indicate that various engines with a capacity of 1300 cm³ to 2000 cm³ were available. The body was made of fiberglass .

The other model was the P 3 , a replica of the Alfa Romeo P 3 racing car from the 1930s. A tubular steel frame formed the basis. The body was made of aluminum and polyester .
