Grégoire was a French car brand.

Company history

Jean-Albert Grégoire was an automotive engineer who designed many prototypes and who ran SA des Automobiles Tracta before World War II . In October 1947, he exhibited a prototype under his name at the Paris Motor Show , but it was not until 1956 that he began series production of vehicles that were marketed under his name. Production ended in 1972.

Grégoire R

This was a large front-wheel drive passenger car. Hotchkiss took over the project and marketed the vehicles as Hotchkiss-Grégoire from 1949 to 1954 .

Grégoire Sport

From 1956, Jean-Albert Grégoire continued the production of the Hotchkiss-Grégoire in a revised version in his company. Up to the end of production in 1962, around ten to fifteen copies were made.

Grégoire Charbonneaux

In 1969, four examples of a front-wheel drive delivery van with a Unilec electric motor were built . Until 1972, these delivery vans were produced in a small series of around 20 for the French Post .
