Company history

The company Acoma Sarl from Angers began in 1974 with the production of automobiles and set in the same year vehicles in the Paris Motor Show from. The brand name was Mini Comtesse . In 1979 3500 vehicles were sold. Production ended in 1984.

vehicles

The company manufactured micro cars. The first model was a tricycle with the single wheel in the front. Two additionally mounted wheels without contact with the ground should prevent it from tipping over in dangerous situations. A moped built -in motor from Motobécane with a displacement of 47 cm³ was used to drive the front wheel. The doors represented a special feature: the left door is a wing door, hinged in the roof, which requires little space in tight parking spaces, and the right door is a conventional front hinged door. Due to the small cubic capacity, the vehicles can be used in France without a license.

In 1978 a four-wheel model followed. The Comtesse Super Coupé , Comtesse Super Sport and Starlette models were also four-wheeled and had the small engine. In the Star , a larger engine with a displacement of 125 cc provided the drive.
