Company history
The company from Saint-Pierre-de-Rivière near Foix started producing automobiles in 1980 under the direction of Jean Lelièvre. The brand name was JL . The vehicles were both fully assembled and available as a kit. Production ended in 1982.

The only model was a two-seater roadster in the style of the 1950s, similar to the MG TF . The platform frame of the VW Beetle formed the chassis . A fiberglass body was mounted on top. An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from VW , which was mounted in the rear, provided the drive. There was a choice of displacements of 1200, 1300, 1500, 1600 and 1800 cm³. In March 1981 a kit cost 10,450 French francs , the top an additional 1,815 francs. Complete vehicles cost between 45,382 francs with the 1300 engine and 51,501 francs with the 1800 engine.
