Tilbury was a French car brand. The vehicles were built one after the other at different companies.

history

The company Style et Mécanique Sportive from Coignières started producing automobiles in 1986. The brand name was Tilbury . The vehicles were available both complete and as a kit . La Rochelle Auto-Loisirs from La Rochelle continued production in 1988. Martin Automobiles from Les Sables-d'Olonne manufactured the vehicles between 1990 and 1996 . A total of 130 copies were made by 1996. So far the last manufacturer was Vibraction from Roanne until 2005 .

The only model was a 1930s-style roadster designed by Yves Charles. The chassis of the Renault 4 formed the basis . A plastic body was mounted on top. Martin Automobiles brought out a revised version that was equipped with many parts from the Renault 5 . Vibraction developed a version with parts from Peugeot in 1998 .
