Pierre Faure was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1941. The brand name was Faure or Pierre Faure . In 1946 the company presented vehicles at the Paris Motor Show . Production ended in 1947.

The company only manufactured electric cars because gasoline was hardly available in France during World War II . A small coupe and a delivery van were on offer . What they had in common was the rear narrow gauge. The maximum speed was 40 to 45 km / h and the range 69 to 80 km. After the end of the Second World War , the vehicles had no chance against gasoline-powered vehicles.
