The SA des Établissements Rochet-Schneider was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Lyon-based company started producing automobiles in 1894. Licensed productions were made by Florentia , FN , Martini and Nagant .
In 1932 the production of automobiles ended. Commercial vehicles were manufactured until 1951 when Berliet took over the company.

The first model with a single cylinder engine was similar to the German Benz . From 1901 the models 8 CV with two-cylinder engine and 12 CV with four-cylinder engine, like the models from Panhard & Levassor, had front engines .
Later, independent models were produced.
In 1903, the 20/22 CV model came onto the market. In 1906, the 18 CV model appeared , the engine of which had a displacement of 4400 cc . In 1907, the first six-cylinder model was presented, it had a displacement of 10,900 cm³. In 1911, the range consisted of a four-cylinder model with a displacement of 4800 cm³ and a six-cylinder model with a displacement of 5500 cm³. In 1914 there were six four-cylinder and six-cylinder models to choose from.
After the First World War , there were the models 12 CV , 18 CV and 30 CV . In 1929 there were four four-cylinder and one six-cylinder models on offer.
Vehicles of this brand can be seen in several automobile museums, mainly in France.
