Koechlin was a French car brand.

Company history

The company S. Gerster et Cie from Courbevoie began in 1910 or 1911 with the production of automobiles which were marketed as Koechlin . Production ended in 1913 or 1914.

The first model was a racing car that was registered for the Coupe des Voitures Légères in 1911 but did not appear for the race. A four - cylinder two-stroke engine with a capacity of 3000 cm³ provided the drive . The transmission had five gears. Between 1912 and 1913 two models were in series production: a four-cylinder model with 2995 cm³ displacement and a six-cylinder model with 3000 cm³ displacement, both with a four-speed gearbox. There was a choice of three wheelbases of different lengths .
