Sizaire-Naudin was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Maurice Sizaire (1877-1970), his brother Georges Sizaire (1880-1934) and her partner Louis Naudin (1876-1913) founded on June 1, 1903 in Paris , the company SA of Automobiles Sizaire et Naudin and began 1905 with the production of Automobiles. The brand name was Sizaire-Naudin . In the same year, the company presented vehicles at the Paris Motor Show . Louis Naudin died in 1913. In 1912 the two Sizaire brothers had to leave the company, which was then renamed Société des Nouveaux Établissements Sizaire et Naudin . Production ended in 1921. The Sizaire brothers also founded the Société Nouvelle des Autos Sizaire in 1913 and Sizaire Frères in 1923 .

The company produced small, two-seat sports car with a single cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton with 918 cc engine capacity were equipped. The single cylinder engines even reached 1583 cm³ displacement in 1910 and were manufactured until 1913. In 1911 there were four-cylinder models with Ballot engines .

After the First World War , the 13 CV and 17 CV models with Ballot engines were in the range. From 1921 voiturettes were made again .

A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Musée Henri Malartre in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône . Sizaire & Naudin is considered to be the manufacturer who was the first to introduce an independent wheel suspension on the front axle in small series.
