Gardahaut et Cie , previously Cyclecars GAR , was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Mr. Gardahaut founded the company Cyclecars GAR in Clichy in 1922 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was GAR . In 1929 (according to another source in 1925) it was renamed Gardahaut et Cie and moved to Asnières-sur-Seine . Production ended in 1934. Automobiles JP acquired some of the engines that were still in existence.

The company initially manufactured cycle cars with air-cooled two-cylinder engines. A little later, small sports cars with different engines were added, which were also used in car races.
