At the beginning, Mathis models were offered under the Matford brand name, followed by Ford models, which subsequently replaced the Mathis models.

The Quadruflex series had chassis from Mathis and V8 engines from Ford. It sold poorly.

The 1935 model year vehicles corresponded to the American Ford V8 model 48 . A V8 engine with a displacement of 3622 cc provided the drive .

In 1936 the Alsace followed with a new, less Americanized body. The four-door sedan had four side windows. There was a choice of V8 engines with a displacement of 2227 cm³ and 3622 cm³.

In 1937 a convertible and the commerciale hatchback variant added to the range. In 1938 a station wagon with wooden paneling was added.

In 1940 the Matford F917WS truck followed. Despite the outbreak of the Second World War , this was continued to be built until February 1943 and then discontinued in favor of the Ford V 3000 S from German production. After the end of the war, the model was modified again as Ford Cargo F798WM from 1949 until 1954, when Ford France was taken over by Simca . Thus the model was produced from 1955 as Simca Cargo and through the takeover of Automobiles Unic in 1958, until 1960 as Unic Cargo.
