Voitures E. Chapeaux was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Émile Chapeaux founded the company in Lyon in 1940 and began producing automobiles, some of which took place in the Ateliers Lyonnais Ultima factory . The brand name was Chapeaux . Production ended in 1941. In total, only four vehicles were built.

The company made electric cars. The basic set chassis of Amilcar , Mathis and Salmson . For the drive was provided by a motor .
The first vehicle was a coupe commissioned by a Red Cross employee. The following two vehicles were two-door sedans that were inspected by a factory manager and a lawyer. The fourth vehicle was a single rear wheel tricycle that a jeweler ordered.
