Yves Giraud-Cabantous was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The racing driver Yves Giraud-Cabantous founded the company that bore his name in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1926 to manufacture automobiles . The brand name was Caban . Production ended in 1932. A total of 28 vehicles were built.

Mainly sports cars were manufactured that were also used in car races such as the 24-hour races of Le Mans . There was a choice of four-cylinder engines from Ruby , Salmson and SCAP. In addition to 19 sports and racing cars, six sedans and three convertibles were built .
