J. Goupy was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

M. Janvier founded the company in Paris in 1922 for the production of automobiles. The brand name was JG or JS Sport . Production ended in 1922 or 1923. A total of three vehicles were built.

The only model was a cycle car . A four - cylinder built- in Ruby engine with a displacement of 970 cm³ provided the drive . The friction transmission had six gears. The power was transmitted by means of a chain.
