Automobiles Rally was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

A Mr. Rotschild founded the company in Colombes in 1921 to produce automobiles. The brand name was Rally . Production ended in 1933.

vehicles

The first model was a sporty small car , equipped with a V2 engine from Harley-Davidson . From 1922 four-cylinder engines from Chapuis-Dornier , CIME , Ruby and SCAP were used. In 1926 the company presented the Grand Sport with a Chapuis-Dornier engine with a displacement of 1100 cc and a compressor at the Paris Motor Show . It made about 70 hp . This indicated a top speed of approximately 180 km / h. From 1927 around 14 to 16 of these vehicles were built. A Grand Sport cost 42,900 French francs in 1928 .

1927 there was also a model with a small eight-cylinder engine and 1100 cc engine capacity . From 1931 Salmson motors were used.

One example of this brand is in the Aspang Automobile Museum in Aspang-Markt in Lower Austria , and another vehicle can be viewed in the Oldtimer Automobile Museum in Reninge , Belgium . Apparently there are still three Rally Grand Sport , one of them in Switzerland .
