Marcel Violet founded the company in Levallois-Perret in 1920 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Weler . Production ended in 1923.

Four-wheeled cycle cars were produced . The two-cylinder two - stroke engine developed 6 hp . There were models with a front engine and models with a rear engine and drive. The vehicles were also used in car races. In 1921 , Louis Charavel took 4th place in the Coupé des Voiturettes at the wheel of a Weler .
