The Société des Nouveaux Ateliers A. Deguingand was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Puteaux company was the successor to Vinot & Deguingand . In 1927, the production of automobiles began under the direction of Albert Deguingand. The brand name was Deguingand . Production ended in 1930.

vehicles

The first model was a small car . For driving a saw four-cylinder engine of SCAP with 1,170 cc engine capacity . In the version with side valves, the engine developed 22 HP and with OHV valve control 28 HP. Touring cars and limousines were on offer . This model could not compete with the models of the high-volume manufacturers such as Citroën .

From 1928 the smaller model 5 CV , designed by Marcel Violet, was created. A four - cylinder two-stroke engine with 735 cm³ displacement provided the drive.
