Barron, Vialle et Compagnie was a French manufacturer of automobiles and trucks .
Company history
A. Barron, who previously worked for Berliet , and Antoine Vialle founded the company in Lyon in 1912 and manufactured commercial vehicles. From 1920 the repair of railway wagons was added. In 1924 they took over automobile production from the Strasbourg company Automobiles Six . The brand name was Barron-Vialle . Around 50 to 60 vehicles were built each year. The vehicles were also exported to Belgium , England , Italy and Switzerland . In 1925 Barron left the company. Automobile production ended in 1929. Commercial vehicles were built in a new plant in Arandon until 1937 .

Models with six-cylinder engines and eight-cylinder engines were produced. With identical dimensions of 70 mm bore and 90 mm stroke , the result was displacements of 2078 cm³ and 2771 cm³. The engines had OHC valve control . From 1928 the cubic capacity was 2400 cm³ and 3200 cm³.
