Le Maître et Gérard was a French manufacturer of engines and automobiles .

Company history

The company from Rue Gide 58 in Levallois-Perret began producing built-in motors and rear axles in 1921 . Between 1923 and 1925 it produced a small number of complete automobiles itself. The brand name was Le Maître et Gérard . Production ended in 1925.

The company manufactured cyclecars . A self-made four-cylinder engine provided the drive . 53.8 mm bore and 82 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 746 cc . The engine made about 10 hp .

Benjamin , Dalila , Tom Pouce and Zévaco used built-in motors from Le Maître et Gérard.
