The Société des Automobiles à Refroidissement par Air was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Courbevoie company started producing automobiles in 1923. The brand name was SARA . Production ended in 1930. Scotsman from Edinburgh produced the six-cylinder model under license from 1929 .

vehicles

Vehicles with air-cooled engines were on offer . At first there were light two-seaters with engines with a displacement of 1100 cc, and from 1925 four-seat vehicles as well. In 1927 a six-cylinder model with a displacement of 1806 cm³ appeared . The vehicles were also used in car races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours .
