The Société Chaigneau-Brasier was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from Ivry-Port was founded in 1926 as a successor to Brasier for the production of automobiles. The brand name was Chaigneau-Brasier . Production ended in 1930 due to the Great Depression .
vehicles
At first there was the four-cylinder model 9 CV , also called TD-4 . This model was available as a touring car and a two-door sedan . The four-cylinder model later served Michel Irat as the basis of his vehicles.
In 1928 a model appeared with an eight-cylinder in - line engine with OHC valve control . Initially the engine had a capacity of 3000 cm³ , later it had a capacity of 3490 cm³. The specialty was the front-wheel drive .
A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Musée Automobile Reims Champagne in Reims .
