Charles Montier et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Charles Montier of Paris sold Ford automobiles . In 1912 he founded the company Charles Montier et Cie and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Montier . Production ended in 1933 after more than 50 copies were made.

vehicles

Initially, some small cars were made. Since 1916, sports cars and racing cars based on the were Ford Model T made later based on the Ford Model A . Used were four-cylinder engines and eight-cylinder engines . The vehicles were also used in car races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours .

A vehicle of this brand can be seen at the Collecció d'Automòbils de Salvador Claret car museum in Sils .
