Établissements Paris-Rhône was a French electrical company and manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in Lyon in 1915 and was active in the electrical and electrical engineering sector. In 1942 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Paris-Rhône . Automobile production ended in 1944. It is not known when the company was dissolved.
vehicles
The company only manufactured electric cars because gasoline was hardly available in France during World War II . They were tricycles with a single front wheel.
The first VPR model was also called the Baby Rhône . It was available as a doorless two-seater with a single front headlight and as a delivery van .
The VPR-2 had a two-seater coupé body from Faurax et Chassende from Lyon and two front headlights.
A vehicle of this brand could be viewed in an unrestored condition in the Musée Automobile de Provence in Orgon in 2009 .
