The Société des Automobiles Villard was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Janville-based company began producing automobiles in 1925. The brand name was Villard . Production ended in 1935.

There were cyclecars made. Initially, a tricycle was offered with the only wheel in the front. A single - cylinder two-stroke engine with 345 cm³ displacement was used . Many of the tricycles were made as delivery vans. Four-wheeled automobiles followed in small numbers in 1927. Now two-cylinder engines and V4 engines with 500 cc displacement were available. A 350 cc engine followed later. All vehicles were front-wheel drive .
