Company history

The electrical appliance factory from Lyon produced car accessories from 1892 and its first automobile in 1899. In 1930 the production of automobiles ended, in 1936 that of light commercial vehicles. There were trucks with either gasoline or diesel engines until 1952.

vehicles

The first model from 1899 was the Voiturette 8 CV with a water-cooled two - cylinder in - line engine with 2355 cm³ displacement and an output of 13 bhp (9.7 kW) at 1250 / min., Leather cone clutch and a five-speed gearbox with reverse gear. The power was transmitted to the rear wheels via two drive chains. Rigid axles on semi-elliptical leaf springs were used at the front and rear . The four-cylinder model 20/24 CV followed . From 1904 the vehicles had a split chassis so that the front of the vehicle with the engine could easily be separated from the rest of the vehicle. In this way, various body structures could be assembled in summer and winter with little effort. In 1906 the range consisted of the two-cylinder model 10 CV and three four-cylinder models 10 CV to 40 CV . In 1910 the four-cylinder model H4 14 CV appeared , which was produced without major changes until 1936, and the six-cylinder model 18 CV . In 1914, the four-cylinder 20 CV model with a displacement of 3600 cm³ was added.

After the First World War there was a large four-cylinder model with a displacement of 4700 cm³ in addition to the H4 until 1925.

Two vehicles of this brand can be seen in the Musée Henri Malartre in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône .
