L'Avant Train Amiot et Peneau was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Asnières-sur-Seine started producing automobiles in 1897. The brand name was initially Amiot , later Amiot-Peneau . Production ended in 1902.

The first model from 1897 was just called Amiot . This was a four-wheeled vehicle. The engine developed 6 hp . This was followed by the vehicles with the double name. The only model was an Avant-Train , a single-axle vehicle that was harnessed in front of non-motorized vehicles and pulled them. Both gasoline engines from Daniel Augé and electric motors from Compagnie Électrique O. Patin were used .
