Eldin & Lagier was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Messrs. Alphonse Eldin and Lagier founded the company in Lyon in 1898 to sell De Dion-Bouton vehicles . In 1899 the production of automobiles began. Barisien was the designer. In 1901 production ended after only a few copies had been made. Alphonse Eldin moved to Rochet-Schneider in 1906 as sales director .
vehicles
The first model was equipped with two built-in motors from De Dion-Bouton , each with 1.75 hp , which were mounted in the front of the vehicle. The 20 CV model with a four-cylinder engine followed in 1901 . A vehicle of this type was delivered to the Belgian King Leopold II .
