The Société l'Énergie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1899 under the direction of M. Renaux . Production ended in 1902. Initially the brand name was Énergie , from 1901 Renaux .
vehicles
The most important model was the tricycle , a three-wheeler. In addition, from 1901 there was a small car with a single-cylinder built -in engine from Buchet with an output of 8 hp . The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle via a cardan shaft .
