Bertrand et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1901. Production ended in 1902.

vehicles

The weaker model was the 4.5 CV , also known as the 4 CV . A built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton provided the drive. The more powerful 6 CV model had an Aster engine . The power transmission of both models was carried out by means of a chain. The open bodies offered space for two or four people. A 6 CV won in its category at the Moscow - Saint Petersburg auto race in July 1901 .

A vehicle still exists today.
