The Compagnie des Voitures Électriques Helvetia was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Swiss Jacques Fischer-Hinnen founded the company in Combs-la-Ville in 1898 . In July 1899 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Helvetia . There was a connection to František Křižík, elektrotechnický závod from Prague . Production ended in 1900. The number of pieces remained small.

The only model was an electric car . The Cab and Victoria body styles were available . The vehicles were also used as taxis .
