Rochet Frères & Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Lyon-based company started producing automobiles in 1898. The brand name was Rochet or Rochet Frères . Production ended in 1901. There was no connection to Société Rochet from Paris , which at the time also offered automobiles under the Rochet brand name.
Models
The only model 4 ½ CV had a single cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton . The engine was mounted in the stern. The transmission had three gears. There were two-seater and vis-à-vis body styles .
Vehicles of this brand can be seen in the Museo de la Fundación Cultural RACE in San Sebastián de los Reyes and in the Musée Henri Malartre in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône .
