C. Hugot was a manufacturer of automobiles from France .
Company history
The designer Charles-Ferdinand Hugot founded the company in Paris in 1897 and began building automobiles. The brand names were Hugot in Germany and Paris in England . Production ended in 1899 or 1901. In 1905 a new beginning took place under the name Hugot & Pecto .
vehicles
The first model was a small car , which was equipped with a single-cylinder built -in engine from De Dion-Bouton in the rear. The engine output was 2.25 hp or 3.5 hp , depending on the source . The transmission had two gears. The open body offered space for two people.
Aster engines were also used later .
Vehicles of this brand can be seen in the Musée Henri Malartre in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône and in the Musée Automobile de Vendée in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire .
