Th. Klaus was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Th. Klaus founded the company in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1894 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Klaus . Production ended in 1899. In total, only a few vehicles were sold.

The first model was a tricycle with the single wheel in the front. A single-cylinder engine with 2 hp provided the drive . A four-wheel model with the same engine followed in 1897. The last model was presented in 1898. It was equipped with two engines with 2.5 HP each. One vehicle took part in the small car race from Paris to Rambouillet and back in October 1899 .
