A. Bailleau was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The A. Bailleau company from Longjumeau began producing automobiles in 1901. Production ended in 1914.

The first model 2 ¾ CV was equipped with a single-cylinder built -in engine from De Dion-Bouton , which was mounted under the seat and drove the rear axle via a chain. The engine was either air-cooled or water-cooled . There was also a light four-wheeled vehicle.

In 1904 the 6 CV and 9 CV models with engines from De Dion-Bouton followed. In these models, the motors were mounted at the front and the power was transmitted by means of a cardan drive . In 1906 there was the 16 CV model with a four-cylinder engine . In 1911 the offer consisted of the 6 CV as a one and two-seater and the four-seater 10/12 CV .
