Automobiles Weyher et Richemond was a French company in the mechanical engineering and automotive engineering .

Company history

The company from Pantin was a steam engine factory . In 1885 it belonged to the Compagnie Électro-Mecanique . In 1901 the company became part of the Brown, Boveri & Cie . In 1903 the production of steam fire syringes began. In 1905 automobiles added to the range. The brand name was Weyher et Richemont . Automobile production ended in 1910. In addition, between 1905 and 1907, cars were marketed under the name Labor . It is not known when the company was dissolved.

The first model 15 CV was a steam car . The four-cylinder - steam engine was based on patents by Friedmann Knoller . The steam car was sold in England under the name Rexer . Gasoline-powered cars followed in 1908. The models 10/15 CV with 2112 cm³ displacement , 16/20 CV and 28/32 CV with 5120 cm³ displacement had four-cylinder engines, the 25/30 CV had a six-cylinder engine with 4385 cm³ displacement.
