Sautter-Harlé was a French car brand.

Company history

The company Société Sautter, Harlé et Cie was founded in Paris in 1825 as a mechanical engineering company. In 1907 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Sautter-Harlé . Another source states that the brand name was Harlé et Cie between 1910 and 1914 . In 1908 the name was changed to Harlé et Cie . Production ended in 1912.

Initially, the models 10/12 CV with a two-cylinder engine and 16/20 CV with a four-cylinder engine were on offer. The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The bonnet was similar to the bonnet from Renault , except that the radiator was mounted in front of the engine. In 1911 the four-cylinder models 12 CV with 1944 cm³ displacement and 18 CV with 3053 cm³ displacement and the 24 CV with a six-cylinder engine and 4580 cm³ displacement followed.
