The Société de la Voiture Bouquet, Garcin et Schivre (also written Société de la Voiture Bouquet, Garçin et Schivre) was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1898 or 1899 to manufacture automobiles. The brand name was initially BGS , from 1904 Garcin (or Garçin ). Production ended in 1906. The vehicles were also produced for Créanche .

The company made electric cars. In 1899 one of these vehicles took part in the Paris – Ostend car race. In 1900, a vehicle from this manufacturer set a long-distance record of 262 kilometers on one battery charge. In 1904 the appearance of the vehicles approached that of gasoline-powered automobiles.
