One of them was an under 18-year-old apprentice from the Italian manufacturer Prinetti & Stucchi , who started with a three-wheeler with two engines that he had converted: Ettore Bugatti . He did not reach his goal.
Panhard & Levassor , the big brand of the turn of the century, took places one to six. Victory on the 565 km long route went to Fernand Charron with an average speed of around 49 km / h.
